J. K. Rowling in Edinburgh

In Edinburgh you may share the same feeling of JK Rowling and write on the exact place where she composed the first adventures of the little magician Harry Potter, at "The Elephant House", in George IV Bridge.
Right here, in fact, as a commemorating plate outside the pub says, the author wrote her first Harry Potter book, sitting on a table in the backside room of the pub, overlooking the Castle.

The writer chose to write in the pub also for economic reasons, as in this way she could save money for heating and electricity. The barkeepers were not always happy to see the woman occupying a seat for hours for the price of a coffee, but in this case the pub certainly had its gain back, and with high interests too!!
