Museum of Scotland

Museum of Scotland: built on the border of the Old Town zone, it has been identified as the first Scottish building of the 20th century. The museum showcases the full history of Scotland, its territory, its population, its successes, through a series of rich national collections including more than 10.000 precious and domestic objects, which together give an idea of Scottish life through the centuries. The museum is situated in proximity of the Royal Museum. Admission to permanent exhibitions is free.

Opening hours: January to December from Monday to Saturday  10.00 am to 17.00 pm; Tuesday 10.00 am to 20.00 pm, and Sunday from 12.00 am to 17.00 pm.
